ANA VDV is a French visual artist working with painting, collage and recycled materials
Her practice explores the construction of identity through the body, memory and symbolic fragments
She lives and works in Bordeaux and exhibits in France and internationally

 

ARTISTIC STATEMENT

The work of ANA VDV investigates the relationship between matter, memory and the human body
Her compositions are built through layering, fragmentation and recomposition, where materials act as witnesses before becoming images
Her practice develops between abstraction and figurative traces, addressing identity, representation, resilience and transformation
The use of recycled materials is both an ecological and conceptual stance: matter carries history and memory before entering the work
